  • Our Neighbourhood

Situated in the heart of an ecologically rich area, Westshore works hard at being a good neighbour. The nearby tidal waters of Roberts Bank are the feeding grounds for salmon fry, cod, crabs, and a host of birds from blue herons to cormorants.

The five kilometre causeway built in 1969 has aided the stability of the local waters and enriched fish habitat, also positively impacting on the birds which feed in the mud flats.

Our closest human neighbours are located about five kilometres away in suburban Tsawwassen. The Tsawwassen First Nation is also developing reserve land for residential use along the Roberts Bank foreshore.

For more than 30 years, Westshore has peacefully co-existed with our neighbours, sharing this serene environment as a responsible corporate citizen.
